Emails don't thread properly from DW in gmail - comments should thread separately per entry, but right now they all stack up in the same thread.

On LJ there is a separate domain - lj-toys - which is necessary for embedding video content. This has not been established for DW yet, so it is not possible to embed videos right now.

ETA 3/11 - set up and seems to be working.

Community read pages (such as the one for dw_beta) don't show any entries.

ETA 3/11 - fixed.

If you attempt to use an bad format in a filter name (such as a comma or a #, probably other characters as well), a long error message beginning "[Error: invalid group name at
/home/dw/current/cgi-bin/DW/User/Edges/WatchTrust.pm" appears at the top of the page.

ETA 3/5 - commas and hashes both work; logic should now match LJ's logic exactly.

Tags are counted once per filter used on a post instead of once per post - so if one post is set with access to three separate groups, the tags on it will show up three times.

Emails about private messages only include the subject of the message, not the full text.

ETA 3/2 - this is fixed.

The 'edit communities' link on the profile is currently pointing to /community/members.bml?authas=[user] which brings up an error, '[user] is not a community.' The other edit links point to pages in /manage.

ETA 2/20 - fixed.

Userpics disappear for some users due to memcache problems.

ETA 2/20 - this should have been fixed; looks okay to me, others may want to test also.

The 'no userpics' icon which should load in the inbox isn't showing up when a user who doesn't have any icons sends a private message.

ETA 3/5 - appears to be fixed!

OpenID users attempting to comment on entries with screened anonymous comments see a "will be screened" message although the comment goes through normally.
domtheknight: a firepit outside at dusk (fire pit)

The links in comment notification emails to openID users are fine, but the if html emails are enabled and the user attempts to reply through the form inside, an error message of "You can't post as a shared or community account. Shared accounts represent groups of people, not individual people," is received. Then if the user attempts to comment from that page, the comment will be at the top level instead of threaded.

ETA: this specific issue is fixed, although there are some other OpenID commenting issues.

I thought it was a simple config issue, turns out it's a lot more complex -- our work to run on the 2.X branch of Apache screwed up the spellchecker. Researching what the resolution can be.

Users who are logged out are being sent to the homepage instead of being asked to login and continue.

We're interested in collecting more information about exactly when this happens so if you've experienced it, please let me know (and if you want to poke around logged out, go for it).

ETA 3/3 - this hasn't happened to people recently, so we're hoping it was fixed. If it happens again, please let me know.

If you use the HTML editor to post, and try to insert an image with the Insert Image pop-up box, the box has trouble loading, and appears to be behind the information already on the page, as such:

In Opera, which I'm using, I am able to type in the pop-up box and then post a picture successfully. Some users have reported that the box is completely inaccessible in other browsers, such as Chrome, Safari, and Firefox.

ETA 3/5 - fixed!

As a free user, you should be able to have 25 subscriptions (meaning notifications when another user uploads an icon, or people comment on posts which aren't yours - things you're tracking; whatever you want to call it). However, users attempting to add up to 25 subscriptions receive an error stating that they've already hit their limit of 25 before the limit is actually reached.

ETA: this is a problem in user education, because the limit counts one for every inbox subscription and one for every email subscription and also the 'standard' subscriptions such as 'comments on my entries'. Bug is still open but has been moved to the Documentation team.

Users are currently unable to create access groups - no users are able to be added and the group cannot be saved.

ETA 2/20 - users are able to create groups and they should be filtering correctly. Needs testing.

ETA 2/24 - appears to work (need some documentation on naming conventions, and can't delete groups, etc)

If a post is made and the security settings are changed, users attemting to access the post instead see a 403: Forbidden error. (Logged out viewers are redirected to the front page to log in.)

This seems to be the case for open to locked, locked to open, private to locked, private to open, and probably other variations as well.

ETA 2/20 - appears this has been fixed, as well as the related tag-doubling.

Users have given others access but not subscribed to them, so they shouldn't be visible on the reading list at all, but their posts still show up.

ETA 2/19 - fix has been implemented, looks like success. Please keep an eye on it and let me know if it breaks again.

If a user is underage, and attempts to access a journal flagged adult content, he should see a note stating that the journal was so marked. Instead, underage users are currently seeing an error page with no information. (If you want to test this yourself, [personal profile] highlander_ii's journal is marked 'adult content'.)

ETA 2/20 - fix set; needs testing to confirm.

ETA 3/5 - tested by several users; appears to be working.

In Chrome, when trying to accept an invitation to a community, doesn't appear that accept/decline are clickable:

Other users who got invites, was this your experience also?

ETA: [personal profile] highlander_ii added that after visiting the comm profile and attempting to join, the buttons in the invite worked.

ETA2: [personal profile] highlander_ii received a second invitation to a different community and that one worked just fine. Not planning to report this unless someone else experiences the same error.
