Editing with the new Create Entries page

We pushed out editing of your own entries using the new page with this code push. Please bang on it and let us know if you run into any issues specifically when editing an existing entry.

Known issues:

  • Admin editing of community entries still goes to the old view (this is deliberate, because we have something else lined up for admins)
  • Title still says "create entries".

Okay, now up to date on Chrome Version 26.0.1410.43 m.

Still doing it.

I haven't applied Windows updates or rebooted the computer, nor have I cleared the cache. I lack time to do that - maybe tonight, but it's hard to say.

I do tend to be *very unkind* to my computer. I'm presently running something like 30-35 pages open in Chrome, 5 Windows explorer windows, Windows Live Messenger (which I really ought to disable as they've sunsetted it, but it still starts up and sits there), a copy of Hero Lab, and my usual tray crud. (Which includes CrashPlan, DropBox, and Avast antivirus. Also Snarfer, which is a lightweight RSS reader, but compared to the rest that's not adding much load.)

So it could be an "overloaded computer" sort of thing or a "something wonky in the cache" sort of thing - although again, until yesterday I hadn't posted since March 1 and that one worked, and I *usually* have this computer overloaded, so....

Alas, back to getting ready for work, or I'll be late. Really curious why it's doing this...as annoyances go it's minor, but as technical curiosities go it's driving me nuts. ;)

what's driving us nuts is that we can't reproduce it! like [personal profile] fu said, we've had at least one other report of it so far, but we still haven't managed to make it happen on command for us.

computers! why they gotta be so haaaaard
