Editing with the new Create Entries page

We pushed out editing of your own entries using the new page with this code push. Please bang on it and let us know if you run into any issues specifically when editing an existing entry.

Known issues:

  • Admin editing of community entries still goes to the old view (this is deliberate, because we have something else lined up for admins)
  • Title still says "create entries".

Huh! Cleared cache, exited the browser completely, and re-entered.

Still doing it.

That leaves a reboot, Windows patches, the Amazon extension (unlikely, but not impossible, nothing is), or...something that's going to stick around. I need a better pointy stick. *pokes it again*

Hey can you try something? In Chrome go to Settings / Preferences, and add a new user. That creates an entire new browser profile (no extensions, etc)

See if the behavior is still the same there. That should tell us if it's something in the browser or something else.

Interesting. No, the new user isn't affected.

But the main one still is, even after patching, rebooting, clearing the cache....

I'm thoroughly puzzled.

Hmmm. Have you tried disabling all the extensions and restarting chrome to see if it's one of those?

Uninstalled the one I never planned to use again, disabled the one that was enabled, cleared the cache, and restarted chrome.

Still happening.

....that is really weird. Ugh. And I can't find anything in settings that would seem to affect that.

It's been doing it ever since. It did it on my first post today. And not on the last two I just made. On the same computer. Just...stopped.

Didn't even close the browser in between.

Unless y'all did a code push right then, I have *no idea* how to explain *that*.
